About the position:
We’re looking for a Telematics Engineer to join our team and act as an IWAREHOUSE Solutions customer consultant for the telematics product line. This role is responsible for determining requirements, product selection, customer operation recommendations, and for supporting proposal generation for potential customers. You will:
Own all facets of the role, including but not limited to technical issues, customer issues, and documentation.
Identify and quantify proposed customer benefits. Create, utilize, and maintain tools to quantify these benefits
Work on customer deployments in coordinator with internal IWAREHOUSE teams
Travel to customer sites as needed to study and gather information critical to the overall system. Travel is anticipated to be 20%-40%
Assist sales team with pre-sales customer support and presentations
Work with internal and external partners to develop complete solutions
Define and document best practices, develop unique solutions, and enable customers to perform application specified tasks.
Maintain expert level of product and application knowledge
Provide timely post-implementation support to customers and internal stakeholders
Manage projects with minimal supervision
Train other employees and partners
About remote work:
Fully remote candidates will be considered based on experience and skill set. Fully remote candidates may be required to travel to Greene, NY for onboarding and/or periodically throughout the year based on business need. About you:
A Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or a related field.
1+ years of application engineering experience.
Ability to flex hours and travel 20%-40% of the time to support customer deployments.
Works well in a team environment.
Strong presentation and communication (written and verbal) skills.
Ability to present technical material to a technically diverse audience
It would be great if you had:
Product management and development software experience.
Material Handling industry experience with distribution and manufacturing.
Standard work/scope of work creation and process development experience.
Experience with Six Sigma, Lean Process or Toyota Production System (TPS).
