Job Summary:
The Senior Employee Relations Partner is an individual contributor position that report s to the Manager of Employee Relations (ER) . The role supports employee relations pr ograms a nd pro jects and focuses on driving compliance, mitigating organizational risk and improving employment- related policies, p ractices, and processes company wide. It involves daily interaction with internal and external stakeholders on highly confidential, high-risk, time sensitive employment matters. Duties include, but are not limited to: serving as the ER point person i n designated regions; conducting investigations, supporting compliance trainings, policy development and interpretation , collec ting , compiling and analyzing ER data, metrics and statistics ; supporting special projects; and other duties as assigned.
Essential Functions
Conduct and document investigations related to violations of Company policies or law
Advise managers and employees of their rights and obligations in employment matters
Identify and analyze Company policies to ensure legal compliance and make recommendations for improvement
Manage and update online policy portal and interpret policies for end users
Maintain and triage cases in the case management system and create reports
Create templates, tools and SOPs to support ER processes
Liaise with Legal and other stakeholders to compile documents in response to litigation, agency claims and government audits
Assist with reductions in force, performance management, disciplinary actions and conflict resolution
Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement
Incorporate compliance, operational efficiency, and usability into suggested process changes
Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned

Requirements (experience) :
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field or 3-5 years’ experience in Human Resources or Employee Relations
PHR or SPHR preferred
Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws (EEOC; FMLA; ADA; FLSA)
Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of Human Resources practices including; recruiting, training, compensation, benefits, employee relations and performance management
Understands the urgent, sensitive and confidential nature of ER matters and addressesissues timely and with discretion
Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, gathering and analyzing information effectively
Able to work in a fast­-paced, multicultural environment with minimal supervision
Ability to manage competing demands, delays, unexpected changes or events
Well organized, detail oriented, process oriented, and can handle multiple priorities simultaneously
Solid customer service, relationship building and influencing skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office, preferred advanced user in Excel
Familiarity with ADP a plus
