This Virginia CU started a little later than the average credit union, so, it’s a bit younger than most. They were started in 1960 with 8 members and $40 in deposits, according to the CU’s website.

It looks like their ATMS are just local. There are a decent amount of them in the area and through shared branches. Still, it would be nice to be in the CO-OP network or one of the other ones out there.

ABNB Federal Credit Union – Final Thoughts

You can find great community and great financial products at ABNB Federal Credit Union. They aren’t the biggest or the smallest, just somewhere in the middle. I do wish that they had more ATMS out there for national cash accessibility.

It’s a perfect place if you’re local and usually operating near where the branches are. Plus, it’s also not that big of a deal because they have refunds on ATM fees nationwide, up to $25 per month. It’s probably not that likely that you’ll even end up needing to use that. Anyways, they have plenty of assets and also give back to the community a lot at ABNB Federal Credit Union, which is awesome to see.
