This position sits within our Virtual Learning Business, specifically in Pearson Online Learning Services (POLS), helping to support our various academic partner institutions in Higher Education.
Your role:
Under the direction of the Vice President for Partner and Student Services, and in partnership with the Student Services and Partner Services teams, you will be accountable for surfacing and reporting of the portfolio of work in Student and Partner Services. As a high-level individual contributor, you will manage cross-functional reporting, visualizations, and recommendations for continuous improvements.
Support a continuous improvement culture, working in collaboration with the Sr. Director of Strategic Operations in S&PS.
Coordinate cross-functional work across Student and Partner Services, as well as across POLS as needed.
Works with the Senior Director of Strategic Operations to lead the standardized, simplified reporting process and deliverables across the portfolio of S&PS projects.
Leads team collaboration for merging functions where appropriate.
Manages the team cultural transformation through collaborative exercises, events, and organizational “ways of working”.
Drive more visibility, transparency, and accountability across teams through the creation of standard operational reporting, data visualizations, and presentations working with multiple internal stakeholders and multiple
Work successfully across divisions within POLS and larger Pearson, including Innovation & Product Strategy, Business Development (BD), Partner Success Business Unit Teams, and others as needed
Support the department with project notes and coordination for key collaborations.
Your qualifications:
An undergraduate degree; graduate degree or graduate program work preferred.
8+ years of experience in a higher education institution
4+ years of experience managing projects, people, and / or logistical needs like events
Experience with a variety of project management methods
Experience with creating data visualizations
High level of professionalism and judgement
Subject matter expertise in the online higher education landscape
Experienced in academic change management and strategy to support operational improvements across a series of domains including program management and design
A demonstrated ability to work remotely with minimal supervision (this is a remote-accessible position) under highly-dynamic workloads with the ability to be highly effective while managing shifting internal expectations and priorities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with stakeholders to drive action
Passionate about staying up-to-date and engaged with industry expertise
Superior analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills to analyze, evaluate, synthesize, and present research and strategy
Focused attention to detail, excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure and tight timelines
Excellent written, visual, and verbal communications skills effective with broad and diverse audiences
While this position is remote-eligible, it includes the potential of up to 20% travel. As such, candidate proximity to a major US. airport is preferred.

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Pearson provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $100,000 – $120,000.
