Green Bean Casserole Recipe is getting made in my kitchen tonight. This is a really popular recipe that a lot of people seem to like. It works great as a side dish for a lot of meals and can warm you up on a cold night.

Let’s Start This Green Bean Casserole Recipe
Start by preheating your oven to 350 degrees F.
This is a pretty fast dish to throw together, so you’ll probably have it ready to go in before the oven’s even preheated. Next, grab your casserole dish. This might not technically be that kind of dish that I used, but I’m pretty sure that it is.
After that, grab your Cambell’s Cream of Mushroom
Dump all of that into the dish for your green bean casserole recipe.
Dump the milk into the casserole dish. That cream of mushroom soup is going to be pretty dense. It’s like, yea, I get that it’s kind of gross looking, but it’ll be good, trust me. I hope. Okay, actually the people I served this to really enjoyed it. Next, grab your green beans.
After That, Get Your Cutting Board and A Knife
Chop up the green beans into a few pieces each and start throwing them into the dish with the current mixture. Next, grab your soy sauce.
You’ll need to measure out a half teaspoon to pour into the mix of everything currently in the dish.
After you do that, measure out the fried onions. Grab your container of them
Measure out 2/3 cup of French’s Crispy Fried Onions Original and pour it into the mix. Keep that 2/3 cup measuring cup out for the rest of the green bean casserole recipe. You’ll be putting some more on when it gets out of the oven.
Didn’t know fried onions even existed dry (except maybe Funyuns) until now. Maybe I’ve had them on salad before, but it definitely felt like this was a discovery. At least being able to eat them in this quantity was.
Anyway, mix everything around really well and space it out evenly.
Assuming your oven is preheated by now, put it in the oven for 30 minutes at 350. You might still need to wait a little bit if it’s not done preheating yet. After 30 minutes, take it out and stir it around again. Once you’re done stirring it, put another 2/3 cup of fried onions on top. You could probably dump everything that’s left in the container of onions if you want.
After 5 minutes, it should come out and the onions on top should be browned.
This one in the picture tasted good when it was done and was also pretty tasty the next day when I microwaved some of it.
The Short Green Bean Casserole Recipe
Here’s the quick version if you don’t want to go step by step with my pictures.
|Preheat oven to 350 F. Combine the full can of Campbell’s cream of mushroom soup, 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce, and 2/3 cup of French’s fried onions into the casserole dish.|
|Chop up the green beans into a few pieces each on the cutting board and throw them into the mix.|
|Mix everything around with a spoon so it’s spread out evenly and then put it in the oven for 30 minutes at 350F|
|Take it out, let it cool, and serve.|
