A Little About Connexus Credit Union

This Wisconsin CU actually serves members across all 50 states. They actually don’t have much about their history online, but, they have definitely come a long way since they were founded.

Today, they have 3.48 billion in assets. There’s 387,241 members and 409 employees. I wouldn’t be surprised if all of those numbers have gone up since they were published in the “About Us” section on their site.

Share Certificate Accounts At Connexus Credit Union

This product is essentially the credit union version of a Certificate of Deposit. You put in money over time and that money earns dividends.

As of this writing, their APY for a 1 year certificate is .61%, so, you can earn more than the national average (.21%).

There are different tiers for yields and terms at Connexus Credit Union. The APY could be as little as .61% on a balance of $5000+ for 12 months, or, as much as 1.06% for $5000+ for a 60 month term.

The nice thing about them is that you don’t need to have a checking account to use this product. The money is also federally insured by the NCUA up to $250,000.

How They Give Back

Philanthropy is the cornerstone of most credit unions, and Connexus is no exception. They even have a dedicated program called Connexus Cares.

Through that, they have given over $4 million dollars to different programs that help those in need. They have volunteered over 2,500 hours, supported 148 different organizations and donated nearly 7 million pounds of food.
