Where to Find That Free Food in School

Believe it or not, you can practically eat for free in college if you’re in the right place at the right time. How’s it possible? Clubs. See, whether you’re in a club or not, many will have free food and an open door policy for prospective members. Generally, the food at our school’s meetings consists of either pizza or sandwiches, fruit, cookies and soda. Not your healthiest choices, but beggars can’t be choosers. Occasionally, I will also run into chicken strips and Chinese food if I’m really lucky, but that’s infrequent. Important thing is you will be fed and save a bit. Who knows, you might even find one that has interesting content, and decide to become a member. The majority of the time, even if you do stick with one, the fees are so small that you still get a huge bang for your buck. It’s something like 10-15 dollars per semester to officially get on the roster for our business clubs, and that comes at 28 lunches (two meetings a week). Check that out!
